even if we made a friendly and completely obedient form of artificial intelligence, it will inevitably lead to communism
the problem lies in the fact that who ever controls the AI basically controls the whole world and will destroy the capitalist economy of every other country by monopoly and unfair advantage...
tell the AI to :
"find a miracle pill to heal all diseases" ---at first glance a good thing, but its the end of the medical industry...one mega corp called "cure" will produce the cure, for everything...the entire medical profession and everybody who relies on it is out of a job...
"do science"---at first glance also a good thing...but the problem is, when you have an AI that is thousands of times more intelligent than you, it will find out pretty much everything...all scientists are just out of their job...keep in mind that the AI knows everything there is to know...
"build robots"----this is never good...AI + robots = everybody is out of a job....literally everybody...if your job can be done by an AI you are obsolete...
once the AI starts solving our problems, and building robots, the paradox of capitalism kicks in, you see when everybody is out of a job, you have nobody to sell to....
"megacorp" now controls everything and produces everything and thus owns everything...99.9% of man kind will belong to one social class...money will be absent...the means of production will effectively be owned by the "state"...
america will one day be communist
