It depends on the decisions you make. A past lottery winner here in my town was murdered because he would take huge amounts of cash into strip clubs. He would brag to the girls that he always kept $50,000 in his car. He was robbed and killed. I would never imagine a scenario like that going bad.
Just winning the lottery doesn't make you a target. Who you associate with, and how you live your life does.
