No one is buying .org domains? That's a noob remark if I ever saw one. Go to Sedo and other auction sites and people are buying a lot of .org domains lately. One obvious reasons is that next to .com's , they are easier to rank in google. In comparison, the next favorite extension to .com, .net domains are much harder to rank compared to .org
Move.org sold for $120,000 a few months ago
It's the scam I am bringing up here, not $3. Even at $3 per domain, Godaddy sells a ton of domains a month/year to Canadians. If they are scamming Canadians at $3 per domain X number of domains bought by Canadians in a year, that adds up pretty quickly.
Let me make this clear, I have no love lost for Canadians as I live in the US and very Anti Canadian but the fact remains, a scam is a scam. Godaddy is scamming canadians plain and simple.

That is a very good point, people shouldn't use Godaddy. There are plenty of good registars out there like NameSilo.
I have lots of domains with Godaddy and the scam doesn't affect me in any way because I am in the US and billed in US funds. But for those Canadians who are unaware of Godaddy's scam, at least now you do.
