I remember the Russian hospitals. They make you take your shoes off and wear slippers because it isn't sanitary. Then they suggest you go walk around the halls and smoke to relax. Another time, I was visiting someone who had their appendix removed and the nurse came in and asked if he had already been operated on or not. o_O
