A guy goes in for his yearly checkup and the doc comes back with the results and says "I have bad news, and worse news."

The guy asks for the worst news first, and the doctor informs him that he has "a very aggressive cancer with a 50/50 5 year survival rate."

"OK, So what's the not-as-bad news" the man asks.

The doctor replies "you also have Alzheimer's."

"Well, it could be worse" the man says, "at least I don't have cancer."
