I think that's a bit harsh. While it's true that generally speaking, Apple products are very overpriced when looking at the hardware I don't think you can label people what you said.
They work well. Are simple to use and requires little to no prior technical knowledge. They also look good. But I think, that more and more so, the apple brand is becoming something for girls and guys that work in marketing and wear pointy shoes
