When was Lenny Henry ever funny? He made his name as a novelty of being a black man trying to break into stand-up during the 70's then hung onto the coat-tails of his (now ex) wife. It's an open secret that the only reason he was kept on at the BBC was to try and keep French and Saunders in their stable - why do you think that now he's divorced he's reduced to doing adverts for second-rate hotels?
