1. The name is sort of meaningless. I did not want it to sound 'british' as I felt that was too polarizing. I felt that such a strange name could be more brandable than a generic name. Its clearly not good for google searches, but I felt it gives the site a sort or brand. A bit like Haagen-Dazs. Haagen-Dazs is in fact a USA firm but they opted for a swedish (I think its supposed to be swedish) name to give it more class.
