I had a really interesting chat with Jay from YNOT about two weeks ago, mainly him asking if we care about awards or ask our clients to vote for us and my answer was very simple: NO.
Adamo are not the first company who have offered compensation for voting for them, they will not be the last company to do so either. It is why awards are not very meaningful these days.
Being nominated is almost better than winning, at least when you are nominated it means some people thought enough about you as a company to put your name down and you didn't have to beg/pay/scam votes just to get your name in a newsletter and a $50 trophy to put in your office.
