Yeah, I doubt this had anything to do with the migrant situation from over the summer. It's been in motion for quite some time now.
Although with that said, this shows you how "easy" a coordinated attack could be to pull off. They are calling it a coordinated attack now. All you need to do is tell 5, 10, 20 trusted people with similar goals when and where to do XYZ and that's it. They never need to talk again.
Now, making sure they all stay quiet is an issue. It's likely any suicide bombers had "handlers" that kept them in line. From what I've read about suicide bombers, they are usually pushed into it somehow. Believe it or not, most people do not want to die!
