Well sort of... when we have a brand new, neer shot before model we do soft lighting and shadows and natural light. It's just something we do for a coupe reasons. If they are new, they want to see something pretty. Makes them feel good about what they are going. It's also easy... we don't dont have to set up lights and equipment. lol! Test shoot are a quick as we can get them done project. This works.
I know they are not the greatest shots, but they server the purpose before we REALLY start shooing them.
