I see your point. In places where very few live, there are no property prices rising. But they get to enjoy the benefits of cheaper food.
The problem is deeper than that. There's a break even point of a person who contributes to the economy and one that costs the economy money. People on minimum wage are costing the economy money in what the government needs to pay out to provide services for them. Education, health, policing, benefits, etc.
America with it's low tax theory, just borrows more and more. Blaming the government for over spending, to meet the bills. Americans create for themselves.
Ever thought it might be better to pay more for the goods and not pay less at the counter and run up huge debts for your grand children?
