:stop One Million Moms Boycott American Girl, Claim Photo Of Gay Dads In AG Magazine 'Promotes Sin'

hotlinked

One Million Moms wants you to stop buying American Girl dolls, and if your child subscribes to their magazine, they would like you to cancel your subscription immediately. The anti-gay crusaders are boycotting the brand because they believe the company "promoted homosexuality" in the most recent issue of their tween magazine.

American Girl Magazine's November/December 2015 issue features an article titled "Forever Family" about a beautiful young girl named Amaya, who was adopted from foster care. The 1MM group states that they are "extremely disappointed" because the company chose to use a photo in the story that shows Amaya sitting with her two fathers and three other adopted children. (see photo above)

In a post on the One Million Moms' Facebook page, the group suggests that their 80,000-plus followers "avoid shopping at American Girl" and cancel their bi-monthly magazine subscription. The post also warns parents to "be careful" not to let children see the photo because it "promotes sin,' blaming American Girl, owned by Mattel, for attempting to "desensitize our youth" by featuring a photo of a family with two dads.
