It sounds to me that if any webmaster is incorportated his/her company has got to pay 8% juice on sponsor payments and any other payments received. For serious webmasters who make good money, incorporation is the way to go (limited liablity, less taxes) but no way am I going to pay 8% just because I've setup a company instead of receiving the money personally.

Actually Andy, please check your contract again, since that is incorrect and if your contract actually says that I'd like to get a copy please so we can fix it.
If you are using ePassporte to receive money for goods or services, the Commerce contract, the base fee is 8% to receive funds for payment. This is the account that has the available shopping cart attached to it as well.
If you are using ePassporte to pay affiliates, the Commercial contract, then it is a flat $2 per transaction charge, regardless of the amount you are paying the affiliate. The Commercial account is initially funded via wire and continuously funded via either wire or ePassporte transfers into the account, so there is no 5% or 8% or anything else attached to it other than the bank wire fees, which vary.
It is possible that you may have a contract with one but not the other spelled out in it, since at a point in the system there were two separate contracts for these functions, and if you do have the single version I can get it remedied for you very quickly.
My email is
[email protected] if you re-read the contract and feel there is an error, as I said we need to correct that ASAP if you intend to both receive monies and use it as an affiliate payment system.
