They ask some questions of Hillary and other current and former govt. employees.

This shouldn't cost one penny.

Only the Federal Govt. full of crooked bureaucrats could figure out a way to spend 4 MILLION dollars extra on people who are already there getting paid to do one of their jobs (a Congressional investigation as part of their duty of oversight).

When is the last time any of you spent 4 MILLION dollars on anything?
And if you had 4 million dollars in the bank...wouldn't you be kinda considered "well off" if not downright wealthy?

But somehow...the crooks in Washington D.C. have figured a way to funnel out over 4 million extra dollars out of the taxpayers pockets to ask some questions (which is supposed to be part of their normal jobs).

Did they have to fly everyone first class to Hawaii to a 5 star resort for a year to ask the questions?
Where did the 4 million dollars go? And what did they spend it on?

I would have to go out and buy a couple of really nice homes and a garage full of sports cars and STILL have money left over to spend $4,000,000

Sort of like when they spent a couple of BILLION dollars on the HealthCare website.
Who does that? How in the fucking hell do you spend that much money to build a website?
Well, you start with unlimited funds. And then you outsource the work to your crony's and give them outrageous budgets to do the work.

$4,000,000 EXTRA for a group of Congressmen to sit in a Congressional building and ask questions of other govt. employees.
Only in Washington D.C.
This brings up a really good point. I'm going to try to guess at the answer, although I honestly do not know.

When Congress has an investigation of this scope, it's not Congressmen and Congresswomen doing the investigating. Their staff doesn't do it; Their staff already has jobs and they are already busy. So they hire outside consultants to do the work? So they hire twenty people, or thirty people or whatever, and now suddenly these people need office space to work out of, computers....

I am just guessing of course.
