I don't think TNT/Spike TV bent. I think Spike dumbass Lee bent. When the judge took a better look at the case and realized the damages Spike's most likely baseless claim was causing the network, he ordered Lee to put up another $2.5mil bond to continue the suit. Lee suddenly "settled" the suit within hours. He had no case and was costing a major company millions in damages... he's lucky he backed down when he did instead of getting bankrupted by it.
