Trust me you'll feel alot better. I fought shy of my Mom alot and then the time I got to spend with her at the end, she was drugged out and didn't even know I was there.
And the hubby's Mom, she passed suspiciously (even tho she was and had been very ill for along time) He hadn't even spoken to her for several months before her passing. His grand niece showed up at our door one day with tears in her eyes. What a way to find out...
Check with the cruise lines to check on the medical situation on the ship. And make sure they know they have two elderly women so they are prepared. They usually have pretty good docs but that way you have your bets coppered. ;-)

Yes...I intend to call the tour agency and inquire about their on board medical facilities. My mother and her friend just finalized the trip a couple of days ago...and they embark...I believe on the 8th.
