The first successful Moon unmanned landing was done by the Soviet Union (learn the history). Also all manned US landings were made by the butcher Nazi SS oficer Wernher von Braun and they have no relation to Americans. That was his personal achievement. When he has died, the US rockets have refused to fly (see the US space shuttle program which was an epic fail - 33% of defunct garbage).

Maybe because the US cruise missiles have 65% of success launches vs 85% of Russian ones? I wrote 85% because you believe that "unnamed CNN sources" don't lie. Ok even is that's true, the US rocket technology sucks while Russian one rocks. Yes, you have Apple, Facebook and Google (super technologies) but you can't even get to the outer space w/o Russia. Admit it already
