Started a personal website back in 2001. Nude art appreciation. No attempt at SEO. Didn't even have stats, so I couldn't say how many surfers it had ( but I doubt it was more than 100 daily ). Figured I could make a few affiliate sales to cover hosting. Signed up to Met-Art. Made my first sale within a week.
