Carrie, good points. You can sleep easily though knowing that I am currently separated from my wife (yes I have a very complicated life) and while I was still living with her, this guy would never step foot in my house, believe me. In fact we did walk away from him for a few years because he was talking crazy stuff.
But believe me, my kids will ALWAYS be very far from him and we are doing everything possible to help him stay stable. I am certain that he is much safer to society getting stoned in his house playing computer games all day, than if he were out there rejected 'again'.
Edit: But it's really out of my hands, I'm not in contact with him on a day to day basis, usually only when all the old buds get together for drinks. He has just lost his job though, so I'd hate to be his roomate right now..or his cat =(
Edit: To be honest, I am a bit afraid of him myself, wondering what I may have done along the years to offend him that he's never talked about!
