Well, if she came there with the kayak, I understand her concern totally. It is equivalent to someone beating your car into pieces in middle of nowhere (well, there seems to be others, or at least some boat). Anyways, I have done some boating and I wouldn't want my boat to crap for any reason. Though spraying the bear seems to work better than crying for it.
