Sorry Currently Sober, but you can already do that.
On your iPhone, click SETTINGS then SIRI, and then enable "Allow 'Hey Siri'". This lets you ask Siri questions any time you like without having to press the button. If you say "Hey Siri, where are you?" It answers "Right here".
Unfortunately this only works if the phone is charging.
