And the case got even more bizarre tonight. The accuser/victim's lawyer had another press conference and announced he was retiring from the case. He now has serious doubts about the mother's story how she got hold of this torn paper evidence bag. It looks like Cambria was right, the alleged victim's side had more to gain by planting the idea that the physical evidence was tampered with, because the leaked information was favorable to Kane, no DNA found below the girl's waist. The D.A. is having a press conference tomorrow, perhaps we'll find out how this bag ended up in the mother's hands. I heard a rumor that the girl's brother works at ECMC the hospital where the girl went to get checked out.

I think that will put an end to the case, though the Grand Jury won't hear about the shenanigans of the past few days. Whether he assaulted her or not he'll avoid jail I bet.
