Not many understand what a bot is or remember or notice this on the media.
I remember lots of cases of fake profiles and bots allegations in dating sites before, not going to put up a list, but some made headline in the media as some are or was in stock exchange... use google.
We, the webmasters, will read and understand the details, i.e:
Ashley Madison Code Shows More Women, and More Bots
"after looking at the company?s source code [...] evidence that Ashley Madison created more than 70,000 female bots to send male users millions of fake messages, hoping to create the illusion of a vast playland of available women."
The db shows 20 million bot messages and 11 million bot chats. 20 million men out of 31 million received bot mail, and about 11 million of them were chatted up by an automated engager.
Also read the comments of the article: "What about the Bots Seeking Bots section?" - "OK I checked in the database ... and YES! There are 69 (yes, 69) instances where one bot chatted with another bot. It must have been a bug in 2008, because it happened a bunch of times during that year. So indeed there was bot-on-bot action."
So the wifes find the male users email in pay users list, this cause a divorce, but the members are double screwed since they really had only talked bots, just the intention to have an affair was there, which may be enough for a divorce but, poor them.
