There is going to be distrust from both sides specially when there is a big culture diffrence at play as well as language barriers.. These people have seen a lot of death and destruction and they will likely do anything to avoid being sent back to that..
Put yourself in that situation with trying to care for your wife and kids and not knowing what is next, with who knows what rumors are floating around, mostly all from distrust. Would you stay in a camp with thousands of others in just as bad a situation as you or would you try to make a break for it and sneak your way to a better situation?

i am looking at it from that perspective and including that in my opinion. it's my opinion that they needlessly risk the lives of children to flee from the police.
making a break for it by fleeing the authorities that have to process these people through their country while clinging to your child? please.
