I still do not understand though. I have to go to the trouble of verifying my account with these services - epassport, stormpay or any of the rest of them - so that they know that it is a valid account and I am not trying to commit fraud. Why in the hell am I getting charged such an outrageous amount to transfer money from my bank account to load my accounts with these companies.
That would be like sending a payment in on your Visa card and having to add 10% to your payment total just for sending a payment.
And just out of curiosity. If I put say $500 in my account with any of these companies and it sits there a month or two. Does the company that I have the account with draw interest on that?
I can understand charging me to transfer that money into my bank account (which paypal didn't) and I can understand a charge at an ATM and I can understand a charge on the merchant end for receiving payment (as it would be if you used a card in any store) but I for one am not going to use a service that charges me to put my money in an account.
If moneybookers does not charge me to put money in an account then I would definately go for that type of service over any others. I for one though will continue to use my paypal account.
