When I use to play hockey at a pretty high level, my weight would fluctuate 15 pounds or so easy within a few days, just do high cardio stuff, jog at a nice slow pace for an hour or more and you will sweat your ass off, better then 15-20 minutes of running at a high pace and thinking you will have a heart attack.
