That's the same as saying it's someone's own business if they are beating or molesting their children. That's bullshit.. If someone has the capability of injuring and being cruel to innocent victims, they are capable of far more, and as such, are a threat to society in general. Wait until you're the victim someday.
I don't have to "understand" the psychology behind cruelty to know that it's wrong.
