If you use outlook, forget about rules. Download spampal (free) it checks incoming emails against spews and about 10 other databases and routes your spam to a seperate folder; it catches about 95% of my spam, about 100 messages a day.
Content filtering just doesn't work for me - I get models who put words like 'XXX' in the subject line after all, and I don't want that filtered. SpamPal blocks messages because they come from spammers, not based on what the message contains.
