I don't understand these cat-killing supporters here! It is simply stupid and ignorant to kill a living being that you have taken responsibility for, over something so insignificant as having your keyboard pissed on! Even if the keyboard gets fried, wow, you're out a whopping $10 to get a replacement (fine, $150 if it's a wireless/multimedia blahblah)! If you don't want to experience any of the disadvantages of having a cat, or any other pet for that matter, then don't get one!
People have to start accepting responsibility for their actions and stop the all-too-common BS attitude (especially common here in the United States) of shooting/getting into a fight/or otherwise acting violently first, and then worrying about the consequences later; and because of our extremely liberal judicial process, in which severe consequences are NOT handed out for most crimes/felonies, nobody gives half a shit about anybody or anything else!
