India has gone from one of the most open-minded countries about sex to one of the most close-minded. You can blame the British for that, by the way. When Britain took over, especially in the Victorian Period... well, conquered peoples tend to emulate their conquerers in some way. The reasoning being that, you know, "these guys are successful and powerful, maybe if we copy them we can become more successful." Now India is one of the world's most conservative, prudish nations.
