Depends on the definition of sanity. To me killing someone on the orders of an online mythical character. Is insane enough, being 13 years old, another reason not to try them as adults.
Definitions also depend on surrounding cultures one has been raised in.

Clearly they don't get set free, but prison as sane adults, isn't the place for them.
Make's Hitler, Jack the Ripper, and a lot more sane. Who clearly had a screw loose.
Calling them sane and all the people who do similar acts in the US. Should force the dropping of the right to carry arms. Dangerous to have so many sane people running around with guns, and likely to kill.
