Yes you're right. We will create page templates (with and without sidebar).
We will see what options we can add but we don't want to shoot ourselves in the foot because of our premium video theme

Concerning the sidebar width, the problem is that we are using a framework (foundation) and we can't fix a width, it's a grid system. When banners are images, there is no problem they are automatically resized. But it's true that if it's a flash banner, it goes beyond sidebar. We will try to find a solution ;)
