So the buyer is somebody very successful who obviously wanted the domain badly and you just gave it to them for 7K - why didn't you play it out and see how high they might go? It wouldn't have endangered the sale.
And very weird that a buyer of a fairly expensive domain would tell you what their plans are for it.
