So you could post that same picture up there...but replace it with every President from WW2 up to Reagan. And they would all have administrations that sold weapons to Iran.
People make those memes to try and attack one "side" or another (republican or democrat) without realizing that history shows that there is no difference between them in the long run.  |
The difference though is Iran was classified as a State Sponsor of Terrorism when Reagan did it which made it illegal. Then Reagan tried to deny it happened (remember I don't recall?), when the investigations ensued Reagan skated because the administration refused to release documents on his involvement. 14 Reagan officials were indicted and Bush eventually pardoned them after he became President. You cannot compare what Reagan did to what other Presidents did.
