If this is the case then it was not done on purpose. I believe providing a source of the information is important if you do not own the content or if you quote someones else's articles. I think LTP is more a specialty blog than a forum.
Also most of the links on GFY refers to other forums, blogs or portals where the original text can be found. I don't think people wish to direct the crowd there but to be fair in regards to where the information originally came from.
However, i do understand your concern :-).
