It's not much money. By integrating content from other sites and services into the network we also benefit from more traffic and exposure overall. We would have offered this long ago but it has taken sponsors years to start accepting the way this kind of content is consumed by the end user. For instance I asked several sponsors 5 or 6 years ago if I could rehost their FHG images into a cleaner gallery on my site, with no affiliate codes so just straight links to their sites. The answer was a resounding no from virtually all of them.
I do not wish to share stats on anything I currently work on. If you look up the site I sold on here awhile back (I don't start many threads) it has a lot of traffic and revenue information. That site was promoted via these methods initially, it's how we got going. Also, a few people have already gotten on board from this post. It will be much easier to post some of those stats in the near future.
