I have read that the soil erosion on easter island is one of the worst of anyplace on earth. Supposedly, the people cut down all of the trees on the island to move these giant statues. In the process they ruined the ecosystem and wound up eating eachother as the food resources were exhausted. If they excavated the entire island they would probably find many smaller statues entirely covered by the eroded soil.
twisted analogy to the porn business. The webmaster is cutting down all the producers for traffic. When all the porn producers have starved I guess the surfers will be happy with vintage. Right now the webmasters are picking the bones of the content producers
