What never lasts? Pop music or liking it? I think for example Beatles has excelled quite well in both. And in general old people listen the same shit they listened while being young, at least more or less. Some freaky stuff excluded. I guess there isn't that much 50 year old Satan worshipers or something like that.
It is quite funny to think that everyone would "mature" into listening Beethoven or something like that. How is your Beethoven side?
