Three reasons. Many people think Trump is a little crazy and Palin is a lot crazy so they go together. So its fun to think of that pairing. On a more realistic level, Trump will need help getting the christian conservative right to vote for him. Palin could help pull them in. Also, Bristol was back in the news having been knocked up again by another dude.
