CSVs are designed to be pasted into an automated system. What are you using to run your site? Without knowing what you are using to run your site it is impossible to say. Look for a gallery import function on your site if you are using a CMS.
P.S., I hate WordPress as well. Writing from scratch is 10x less work than dealing with LOLpress' templating engine.
