A couple years ago I found a chunk of tar the size of a loaf of bread on the beach, a perfectly natural thing.
But this is California, where the Hazmat Team gets called in if you car drips a spot of oil. It's become a HUGE THING that the equivalent of about 3 tank cars leaked and about two thirds of a tank car actually made it into the ocean.
A year from now you will never know it happened, except for the endless lawsuits filed by the radical treehuggers and the raft of new laws that the leftist California legislature will now crank out as a result of this very minor spill.
