Fast food is a place where you can be served fast. I wouldn't call burger a fast food. It takes a rather long time to make it for you in a
real restaurant (not faster than a soup for example). I mean you can order a burger in some good German or Irish pub. It will take a some time, but you'll get a real burger - not some nasty and stinky fast food shit from mcdonalds, burger king or any other similar place.

Where do we eat during the lunch break then?

Only in places like those which provide business lunches. Actually almost all restaurants here (even the expensive ones) have cheap business lunch menus.
