I was watching the local news at noon here today in Vegas.
They did a story on how Lake Mead is getting lower and that the allocation for Nevada from the Colorado River is about to be cut even more.
They said that could very well lead to water shortages here by 2017.
Serious stuff huh?
Then they suddenly smiled and announced the headlining acts for this year's "Life Is Beautiful" music festival in Downtown Vegas! lol
"We are running out of water...but here's the good news! We're bringing in lots more tourists!" lol
