It is indeed also a reason i go for Medellin. There is a big "entrepeneur digital nomad" community, biggest in South America. A lot of people travel between Chiang Mai in Thailand and Medellin. Will look for a place to stay for 1 month or more. Only hear positive things about Colombia.
