How many goddamned laws do we fucking need? Apparently an INFINITE number. And if Congress doesn't pass as many NEW laws as the last Congress did...then they are not "doing their jobs".
I could have sworn that being in Congress was never supposed to have been their "job" AND the DUTIES of SERVING the people should be to...Serve the people.
Are new laws needed as times change (new technology, etc.). Yes, of course.
Does Congress need to be in session passing new laws every damn day? Hell no. Common sense SHOULD tell people that.
Congress's time should mostly be spent passing a budget (which the Dem Senate of Harry Reid never did) and attending to other legislative duties.
You know, shit that most of us could get done in a couple of months of hard work.
But all of this passing new laws constantly...when does it end? How much shit do everyday American people have to be told how, why, and when to do by passing new laws?

i don't disagree that there are a fuckload of laws, but that doesn't negate that congress's primary responsibility is to create and pass legislation.
seriously- maybe we should change the job responsibilities along with enacting term limits, removing big money from campaigning, and allowing for more than 2 parties. i'm not kidding.
