I'm sick and tired of hearing that so and so was on a committee and only voted on three of twenty votes. If you miss a certain percentage of votes, you should be instantly removed from office.

Congress does not operate this way. a quick look at Congressional voting and absence shows ~90% of COngress votes on all measures. it's all public record and easily searched.
