I never said I thought it was serious, and of course he was joking.
Even though the article I linked to does not quote Jindal as saying he was joking. It was the Times-Picayune at
Bobby Jindal jokes that 'Duck Dynasty' star would make a good running mate, from The Des Moines Register | NOLA.com that only has "Jokes" in the headline. The article itself never mentions that he was joking and doesn't quote Jindal saying he was joking.
But after all of that, OF COURSE he was joking anyway.
And I don't care if Jindal is republican or not. A democrat or anyone else could easily make a similar joke.
