i can get up and go in a straight line. i can't carve a wave face yet. at fucking all. !
but my surfing companion tells me it's on account of my using a novice board, and that now that i can get up and stay up, i can transition to a shorter board and start working on turning, etc.
the other things are too close to my heart to chat about here. childhood dreams kinda stuff..you know? like art and music, those creative endeavors left undone and unexplored because the practical way makes more sense.
i bet you've got a few unexplored/unchallenged parts of yourself, right?
