We stayed at this place a couple blocks from the courthouse. The check-in guy gave us instructions: you can turn left, but do NOT turn right if you don't want trouble. Haha. Our hotel had bars on the windows.

Yeah I grew up in the midwest St Louis is pretty much a ghetto with a couple blocks of nice houses! Not worth even driving through
